Two new shops, one physical, the other virtual, plus a DVD and a CD:

Capsule Art Gallery at 39 Charles Street, Cardiff -- open Tuesday to Saturday. Art for sale: Acid Casuals urbanwear (T-shirts, jumpers, jeans) Pete Fowler toys and T-shirts on sale soon. A summer exhibition opens on Wednesday, 7 August, with a preview evening on Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

CRYMi, a Welsh language portrait of the Ankst label and its army of underground musicians, is available free to anyone buying Ankstmusik releases from their new online shop: www.ankst.co.uk. These DVDs are limited and include contributions from MC Mabon, Tystion, Zabrinski, Ectogram, Wendykurk, LLwyber LLaethog, Rheinallt H. Rowlands, Infinity Chimps, and an interview with Gruff Rhys about mwng.

Look for the debut album from FC Kahuna entitled Machine Said Yes, out now on the City Rockers label. Daniel Ormondroyd and Jon Nowell ran the Big Kahuna Burger club nights in and around London in the mid-90's. The first track, Fear Of Guitars, features a contribution from Gruff. ~ 24 July

Glastonbury & Lansdowne Road : Appearances Cancelled
As announced on the Rings Around The World website:

    "Unfortunately the Super Furries have pulled out of their performance at this years GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL and their support slot with the Red Hot Chili Peppers at Lansdowne Road in Dublin on June 25. The engineer that the band usually use for all their live shows is unable to make either date and no replacement has been found, forcing the band to cancel. They send their sincere apologies to the fans, check back soon for any updates."

SFA join the bill with Air, Echo and the Bunnymen, DJ Arthur Baker, The Cooper Temple Clause and Hanky Park, in support of New Order at an open-air concert in London's Finsbury Park on 9 June. Super Furry Animals play the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals in Germany on 17-18 May. Rock am Ring is staged on the Formula 1 Circuit Ground "N�rburgring" near N�rburg, a little town 90 kilometres southwest of Cologne. Rock im Park is held in the Bavarian City of Nuremberg, about 150 kilometres north of Munich. Tickets can be purchased through the festival websites. 3 May : The Wedge on Much Music
On Friday, 3rd May, Super Furry Animals will host The Wedge on Much Music Canada, with their selection of videos including Mogwai, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Rolling Stones, Kraftwerk, Grandaddy, Cornershop, Pavement and more.
