from soundgenerator.com Headline acts confirmed for Ashton Court Festival 8 Jun 2005 Super Furry Animals, Lemon Jelly both named. Welsh rockers Super Furry Animals and dance duo Lemon Jelly have been named as headliners for this year's Orange Ashton Court Festival, soundgenerator can confirm. Held this year from July 16-17 on the Ashton Court Estate, Bristol, the festival - now in it's 31st year - will see up to 100,000 people take in a host of music and literary performances. Now in its 31st year, Ashton Court Festival is a non-profit organisation and is still almost entirely run by volunteers. Alongside the Super Furry Animals (headlining Saturday) and Lemon Jelly (Sunday), will be Zion Train, Roni Size, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, as well as over 150 more acts over 8 stages, marquees and big tops. 'Wondrous attractions' courtesy of @tBristol and hundreds of stalls selling food and crafts from around the world will also be in attendance. "We are very pleased with the strength of this year's lineup," said Daffyd Jonze, Music Co-ordinator. "Not only with the fantastic headline acts but with the wealth of local talent that will be on show".
