Candylion
Candylion is now available in the UK and Europe! You can buy it via hmv, amazon uk and Rough Trade. There will be a corresponding US release in March through Connor Oberst's label Saddle Creek. This release will feature a 4 lp (one side etched) vinyl release.

There is a lot on the horizon for SFA in 2007 including an album that is done being recorded and is in the mixing phase, hoping to hit the shelves in the spring. The album is said to be a guitar heavy, loud rocker! SFA is also in the process of recording an instrumental album with the BBC in which a documentary is simultaneously being filmed. While not the long anticipated techno album, it does sound intriguing.

And, a big year for side projects! Gruff released his second solo effort, the beautiful Candylion, sung in Welsh, English and "bad Spanish". The US release (which will include a vinyl release) is expected in March through Saddle Creek Records. He will be embarking on some solo dates this winter and spring. Gruff is also recording a collaborative effort with artist Boom Bip so far titled Neon Neon.

Chris Shaw will finish mixing The Peth's upcoming effort The Golden Mile in January.

Cian is busy at work with the Acid Casuals.

And, it appears that Bunf is currently working on a solo effort which we will hopefully hear this year.

Loads of upcoming goodness

The Peth have posted their first tune (myspace.com/thepeth) titled Let's Get Fucking Mental. It's good, really good and it will indeed make you go mental. You heard it hear.

There is now a Myspace profile for Gruff's upcoming 2nd solo effort, Candylion. Check out the tune and the lovely video and three new tunes (myspace.com/candylionmusic). Candylion will be released in the UK on January 2007th and the single is due out on December 4th, with a rumored solo tour in February. Gruff will also be opening for the Flaming Lips in Glasgow SECC on November 10 and London's Hammersmith Apollo on November 14. Busy, busy.
